The purpose of this policy is to tell you clearly and precisely which cookies the Cannagin® website uses: what they are, who installs them, what they are for and how long they last.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a file downloaded to the device you are browsing with when you visit our website. Cookies allow the website to store and retrieve information about your visit and your browsing habits and, depending on the information they contain and how you use your device, they may be used to recognise you.
Types of cookies
Cookies are usually classified by three criteria. The same cookie may fall into more than one category:
1. By who manages them
- First-party cookies: sent to the user’s device from equipment or a domain managed by the publisher itself, from which the requested service is provided.
- Third-party cookies: sent from equipment or a domain managed not by the publisher but by another entity, which processes the data obtained through them.
2. By how long they last
- Session cookies: they collect and store data only while the user is on the page and are deleted when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: the data stays on the device for a period defined by whoever is responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
3. By what they are for
- Technical or necessary cookies: they make browsing and the site’s features possible. They cannot be switched off because the site does not work without them: they are the ones that remember you passed the age check and what you decided about cookies. They are exempt from consent(art. 22.2 LSSI-CE).
- Analytics or measurement cookies: they let us count visits and understand how the site is used so that we can improve it. They require your consent and are not installed until you give it.
This website uses no advertising, behavioural advertising or social network cookies. Nor does it share your browsing data with advertising partners.

How to accept, reject or change your decision
The first time you visit the site you are shown a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject the analytics ones or configure your choice. Until you accept, the measurement services are not loaded.

When consent is withdrawn, the analytics cookies already installed are deleted and the page is reloaded so that their scripts stop running.
How to delete cookies from your browser
